When you can feel IT.

We have a "get-together" at our house every other Sunday night. It's mostly people our age from our church. We call it "Prayer & Praise". It starts around 5p.m. with a meal, and about 7ish we sing and pray. Everyone is gone around 8.

Last night, about the third song into our time of singing I noticed something happening. Little things, eyes closed, more emotion in singing etc. Druing our time of sharing prayer requests, one of the families shared some struggles that they were going through, including a sickness.

Then we prayed. And the Holy Spirit was evident. We laid hands, shed tears, and were humbled in the presence of an Almighty God.

It's hard to describe something as intangible as the Holy Spirit moving like that in a small group. Have you ever been a part of something like that? When you can just...feel it.

Sunday was really incredible. The last time I felt God's presence so strongly was @ college. We would break into prayer groups in the middle of the service and then sing 2 more songs afterward. Except that time. It was amazing. It was so thick that no one wanted to get up or leave (we kneeled/sat in groups). Do we feel a stronger presence when we are with other Christians? ("Where two or three are gathered...") Does the Holy Spirit move more in that setting?
